Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how Castle Pines Home Club— a brand of Home Club Co., LLC (“Home Club,” “we,” “us”) — collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, sign up for a trial, become a member, or otherwise interact with our service.
2. What we collect
We collect information you give us directly, including:
- Contact details: name, email, phone, mailing address.
- Property details: home address, access notes (gate, garage, door, lockbox codes), service history, photos you share with us.
- Service requests and communications: messages you send us, requests you submit, scope and notes you provide.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We don’t see or store full card numbers; we receive a token from Stripe along with the last four digits and card brand for display purposes.
- Account credentials: email and a password hash for member portal access (managed by our auth provider, Supabase).
We also collect information automatically as you use the site:
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps. Used for security, debugging, and to improve the product.
- Error logs: via Sentry, our error monitoring service, when something goes wrong on the page.
- Cookies and local storage: for keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and preserving in-progress plan edits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Operate the membership — coordinate vendors, schedule services, send confirmations and updates.
- Bill you for membership and approved service work.
- Communicate with you about your account, including trial reminders, billing notices, and important service updates.
- Improve the product — understand which features are useful, identify and fix bugs.
- Protect our service — detect fraud, abuse, and security threats.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with:
- Vendors we dispatch to your home, limited to what they need to do the job: your name, address, access notes, and the scope of work. Vendors are independent contractors bound by confidentiality expectations.
- Service providers that operate our infrastructure: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), Sentry (error monitoring). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Home Club, our members, or the public.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify members before the transfer.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle billing disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain accurate service history. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. How we protect it
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest through our infrastructure providers, and access controls that limit who on our team can see what. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
7. Your choices and rights
You can:
- Access and update most of your account information directly in the member portal.
- Cancel your membership at any time (see our Terms).
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Transactional emails (billing, scheduling, account) are required for the service to function.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or request that we delete it, by emailing us. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws — we’ll honor them.
8. Children
Our service is intended for adults (18 or older) who own or reside in the homes we service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the member portal before the change takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
